Back to School!

Taking Jesus Back to School

Tune into AM 830 on September 8, 2013, at 9 pm, for “Your Wonderful Life,” featuring Pastor Andy Quient and Bil Hatch.

The Reading is from Ephesians: 4:11- 15.

Back To School

What it means to go “back to school”

  • Learn
  • Grow

How to do it

  • Start
  • Read
  • Connect

Why bother?

  • For “income” (blessings)
  • For personal development

Why not?

Note! Find out how to start your own growth group by just using these discussion starters. It is free, easy, and you can get in person free support from “Your Wonderful Life.” Who knows, this could be the start of something BIG! (Or little, like a cool little micro-church!)

Discussion Starters:

  1. Please open in prayer.
  2. How long does it take the average baby to walk? Who was the youngest walker you’ve known?
  3. Please review the scripture reading, making any relevant observations.
  4. Sunday’s message was called “Back to School.” In the context of the scripture reading and message, what does it mean to “go back to school?”
  5. While we are to have the faith of a child, we are also to have the maturity of an adult. In light of that fact, please note and comment on the following scriptures: Ephesians 4:14, 1Corinthians 3:1-3, 14:20, and Hebrews 5:11-12.
  6. It has been said that “the graveyard is full of unrealized potential.” Contrast that statement with Ephesians 3:18.
  7. What are some of the ways we can grow in Christ? Why should we?
  8. If you were fully mature in Christ and all that you were meant to be, what would you be doing differently than you are today? What do you intend to do about it?
  9. If you were able to impart only two commandments from the Lord, what would they be? Why did you choose those two?
  10. How can we pray for you and/or someone you know? If you have a confidential request for Pastor Andy, email him at He is the only one to see your email and will hold your request in confidence. Otherwise connect on facebook or Twitter and share with Mr. Bil and a wider audience.
